The shelf Mikado is inspired by the power that a composite of jackstraws can apply together. While a single one breaks, together they can withstand a lot. This principle was transferred to the shelving unit and thus a design was created which, despite the thin diameters of the rods, can bear greater loads and allows the user to handle the shelving unit in a playful manner.
The individual levels are freely height-adjustable and can vary freely in width due to the many round rods.
